Story
Once
upon a time our class decides to take a trip to the South African Statue
monarchy at Durban. We got to Durban and we were made known that, before
getting to the place we have to cross a big river and this will be done by a
canoe.
We
were all afraid but have no other option. The head of the group suggested each
of us should get some coins in his/her wallet this is because we were made to
believe that the ruler of the little village welcomes visitors by collecting
coins as a sign of respect to the gods of the area.
They
also accept new plate/bowls from visitors but didn't have that in mind. We were
served with chestnuts in a vace and we were reluctant in taking it because it
was strange to us. As part of welcoming us, there was a thick tall guy beating
a drum and they were dancing to the tune of the drum.
The
following day, we headed to monarchy entrance, our tickets were stamped and we
headed on to the place. It was a very nice experience and we enjoyed ourselves.
